Taco Seasoning

Recipe from Linda’s Low Carb Menus and Recipes

1 tsp chili powder

¾ tsp paprika

¾ tsp cumin

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp salt

3/8 tsp garlic powder

pinch cayenne

Combine and add to 1 lb browned and drained ground beef. Add a little water if desired.

This will be drier than taco meat made with a commercial mix due to lack of thickeners.

It tastes just as good as the store bought kid as is a lot cheaper to make.

I mix up a bunch of this and put in a small jar. I just measure out 4 tsp of the mixture per 1 lb of ground beef.
